About Le Crabe

Raised between Brussels, France and London Dan aka ‘Le Crabe’ makes and paints all our products by hand in Deal on the Kentish coast.

His style is influenced by a childhood being dragged around Belgian flea markets and cherishing the sun-soaked streets full of artisanal food and homewares near his paternal home in Céret, Catalan France.

‘Le Crabe’ was the first plate Dan painted as a gift to his young son Remi - celebrating their love of crabbing together along the Kentish coast.

He has designed ranges for Anthropologie US, which sold around the globe and has supplied some of the finest stores in the UK and beyond - a new Christmas range is currently in Fortnum and Mason.

From an entire homeware range for Anthropologie US, to a limited edition Bathtub gin bottle, Rixo gifts for Fashion Week, award trophies for the London Restaurant Awards, influencer workshops for Campo Viejo and Mustard x Heal’s and a carefully curated exclusive plate range for Fortnum & Mason and Selfridges - Le Crabe is well-versed in helping deliver a shared creative vision.
